Information contained in these records consists of indexes only and date from the
earliest recorded through and including December 31, 1986. Because deaths were not
recorded with the County Clerk until 1903, not all death records will be found.
Typically a death was recorded in a family bible or journal.
Deaths prior to 1903 were recorded as a delayed death certificate and were issued
only when requested by a person who could attest to the facts of the event. Payment
type accepted for these documents are cash, check or money order. To purchase
